Socio-educational assistant in the daycare center - with pay scale according to TVöD SuE
You will work in a crèche, kindergarten or elementary school. You will accompany children in their everyday lives, support them in educational activities and work closely with teachers and parents. In many facilities, you will be paid according to the pay scale (TVöD SuE S3 or higher).
Support worker in the open all-day program (OGS)
Here you accompany primary school children in the afternoon: homework supervision, play and exercise activities, creative projects. Many providers pay according to municipal or church collective agreements - with regulated working hours.
School support (integration assistance)
You look after children with support needs in everyday school life - e.g. autism, emotional or physical challenges. As a qualified employee, you will have access to better-paid, predictable school support positions.
Collaboration in curative education facilities
You will support children with disabilities or complex support needs in residential groups or curative daycare centers. Once you graduate, you will be placed in a higher pay scale and often receive bonuses.
Educational work in child and youth welfare services
You will work with children and young people who need intensive support in inpatient or outpatient settings. Your degree will enable you to be classified according to the collective agreement and open up development opportunities.
